Are you that person who always finds the steal in the online sale? Can you predict trends and cult products months before anyone else? Then we need you on our team! We are looking for a commerce editor who can dig up the best products everyone is dying to know about and create content that fashion- and beauty-lovers will be searching for.


SHEfinds Media (shefinds.com) seeks a highly motivated person to uncover the best fashion and beauty deals and trends online and analyze the sales success of products you recommend.  The first 60 days will be contract, with the intention to convert to a full time hire full-time after.


This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring writer that is obsessed with sharing the stories of great products, sales and deals. We're looking for exceptional candidates who have strong writing skills, a penchant for online shopping and a true interest in delivering “must buy” content to our audience of shoppers.  


Ideal candidates will have a mix of editorial and analytical skills. Candidates should understand how to tailor content to an audience, optimize it for different platforms, and interpret data to help SheFinds readers discover products they want to buy.


The Commerce editor’s day-to-day tasks will include pitching and writing commerce articles; analyzing traffic and conversion results to form recommendations for improvement; brainstorming to continuously develop new successful types of commerce content.


Responsibilities:

Pitch, write and produce commerce content that converts across multiple channels.

Use data and metrics to inform content ideation and creation.

Optimize content for distribution across email, web and social channels.

Create and optimize commerce content for SEO.

Work with affiliate managers and retailers to secure exclusive deals and higher commissions.

Track and report on commerce content performance.



Requirements

Qualifications:

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions/recommendations.

Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines.

Ability to multi-task and juggle projects simultaneously.

Growth mindset and ambition to meet and exceed goals.

Working knowledge of content-management systems a plus.

Working knowledge of affiliate marketing a plus.

Excellent time management skills.

1 year of relevant full-time experience or multiple relevant internships in the field
